Digital Photographer Philippines (DPP) will have its first ever intense street photography contest - THE SHUTTER GAMES..
Open to all photographers, amateur or professional.. Mechanics of the contest are as follows --
• Teams must be comprised of two members each and must pre-register online on DPP's Facebook page.
• Each team will be given 4 categories to shoot within the walls of Intramuros. Two categories will be given in the morning, and the succeeding two will be given during the afternoon. A time limit of two hours will be given to shoot the morning categories and two hours to shoot the afternoon categories.
• Teams must then submit one photo per category before the time limit. Photos will be immediately scored by a panel of judges and posted on a digital scoreboard, providing an exciting live feed of the running totals of each team. Failure to submit photographs on time will incur penalties to their score.
• Prizes will be awarded for the following.
1. Overall Champions (Team with highest cumulative score)
2. Runner Ups
3. Category Winners (8 Teams)
4. Best Photo
• A registration fee of P250 per person includes contest participation, free coffee throughout the event, a pasta buffet dinner, as well as a buy 1 take 1 on drinks in the evening at the Bayleaf Hotel Skydeck.
