Nikon’s Latest Camera Technology Unveiled

Another Nikon Concept Store opened December of last year. And aside from the store opening, Nikon also introduced its newest line of cameras. Say hello to Nikon 1 J1 and Nikon 1 V1.

Aptly called the “camera of the future”, Nikon’s engineers developed a game-changing device that could fuse still photography and movies. A camera that manipulates light, and with the latest pre-post capture technology, time.

The Nikon 1 makes it possible for enthusiasts to enjoy the size of a portable digital camera with the features of an SLR camera with its interchangeable lens system. Both the Nikon 1 J1 and Nikon 1 V1 are also packed with convenient features including EXPEED 3, a image processor engineered that can process images at 600 megapixels per second, letting you capture images that would have seemed impossible to take.

Easy to operate, and with an astonishingly fast autofocus system, strong low-light performance, clever shooting modes and a built-in flash, it has everything you need to shoot photos and movies that will that will amaze you and anyone you show.

NIKON V1
With an astonishingly fast dual AF system, a high-resolution electronic viewfinder, clever shooting modes, strong low-light performance and options for manual control, it may be small but it’s a powerhouse of imaging innovation.

The Innovations
MOTION SNAPSHOTS
A fantastic way to capture a moment in time as never before, Nikon’s unique Motion Snapshot simultaneously records a one-second slow-motion movie and a still image, then instantly combines the two to create a photo that moves.

SMART PHOTO SELECTOR
This incredible feature starts recording before you fully press the shutter button and continues after you’ve clicked. It shoots 20 high-resolution images almost instantly then saves your best five.

Shots are recommended based on facial expression, composition and focus, so you’ll never again miss a smiling face or end up with a blurred image.

HD MOVIE RECORDING
Nikon 1 cameras let you take full-resolution photos while filming — without interrupting recording — and you can film in extreme slow motion for dramatic effect.

The fast autofocus system makes action scenes easy and the large image sensor ensures crystal clear footage, even in low light.

CONTINUOUS SHOOTING
Equipped with the world’s fastest continuous shot, it can deliver full-resolution images at up to 60 frames per second.

And when you want to focus tightly on one subject — say a child or pet — the camera can track them and capture full-resolution images at 10 frames per second.

SMART SENSOR - FAST AUTOFOCUS
Whether you’re shooting fast movement, slow movement or no movement, Nikon’s all-new CMOS image sensor never disappoints.

Equipped with the fastest dual autofocus system in the world, your subject will always be in focus.

  1. OH EM. Ang ganda. Mas maliit sya pero parang SLR na din ang features. I'd rather choose that than the bulky one. Kaso ang ganda din ng presyo hahaha
