Presenting the Lenovo Ideapad K1 Tablet

September 16, 2011 -- Lenovo Philippines officially launched the Ideapad K1 Tablet locally available to consumers in the country. The launch took place at Republiq, Resorts World Manila hosted by Iya Villania.

Usually such product launch is only for the media partners to see but Lenovo gave consumers the chance to attend such event via Facebook. This way, I should say its a plus in terms of PR and exposure.

Aside from the Ideapad K1 Tablet launch, Lenovo announced and awarded the winners of their Sing to Win contest that were held at V-Mall and Festival Mall.

For an iPad user like me, the Ideapad K1 tablet is something to check out. The tablet is sleek and stylist with 3 colors to choose from (black, white and red) running with Android 3.1 OS. It has pre-loaded applications which includes Angry Birds and a full version of Documents to Go (now that's a nice freebie!). The tablet also features a simple one-button interface, Flash 10.3 for easy web browsing and video streaming and this exclusive SocialTouch App that only the Lenovo Ideapad tablet has. And no worries on how to connect it with other devices or uploading from other media. The Ideapad K1 tablet has an integrated bluetooth, mini-HDMI, microSD ports and WiFi connectivity. 1st Blackberry Experience

I finally got hold of my first Blackberry phone - BB Curve 8520.. And so far, I am enjoying it. It wasn't a challenge using a Blackberry unit. Initial applications I downloaded and installed from the Blackberry App World were Facebook, Twitter, GetGlue and Tumblr for social media; BB Messenger, Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger for instant messenger. I'm still exploring the App World for other useful applications.

BB Curve 8520 specs:

Data: GPRS / EDGE, WLan, Bluetooth, microUSB

Memory: 256mb (internal), up to 32gb (external)

Camera: 2 megapixels; 5x zoom

BB Curve 8520 may not have the 3G connectivity but I didn't have any issues using GPRS/EDGE via network provider. Thanks to the existing and affordable mobile features. Now I am searching for the appropriate accessories and other applications to use to maximize usage of the Blackberry Curve 8520.

Getting the DARK MECH and BLOODLINE -1:

To get the armor, start a new bloodline and die to the dark knight in the tutorial.

1. Start a new game.
2. When fighting the Dark Knight, quickly tap and release the shield.
3. Repeat till death.
4. Once you start the game you will have the Dark Armour and you will play in -1 Bloodline.

My First Gadgets: An Introductory

My life as a gadget or technology enthusiast wasn't that easy. I'm a late bloomer I must admit. Getting to explore new gadgets and accessories started just months back, few years after graduating from college. I grew up playing in the streets. Unlike today, kids and teenagers alike are more hooked with PS3, Xbox, PSP, RPG games, Android and iOS apps.

I bought my first gadget when I was in grade school. It was a Kodak film camera that was worth 700 pesos that time. I must say it was my Christmas gift to myself coz I had all "aguinaldo" saved for the camera. That's where I started to learn the passion of taking photos.

My first mobile phone was a Bosch given by my dad when I was in college. It was this 2-liner screen with a black casing and steel lining on the side. And it's really bulky because of the battery.

So that's it! They maybe simple but those had sentimental values to me.
