GADGET FEATURE: WD 3TB MyBook

Disk storage has been one of my concerns when it comes to computers. My laptop currently has 500GB of internal storage and

currently monitoring that it's not on a critical status on disk space. That's why having an external storage is a big help to backup files and give way to new docs, photos, videos etc.

And for hardcore computer users like me that do all sorts of stuff such as photography, watch movies and more, the WD 3TB MyBook is a MUST!

If you noticed, the drive says "for Mac" but the cool thing about it is that when I plugged it to my Windows-based computer, it actually has an option to used it.

That was a relief!

Installation was a breeze. No complicated steps, even a non-techie person, as long as he knows how to follow instructions can do it. After installing the software, WD Smartware automatically check the internal HDD for any documents, photos, videos and other files stored. Not just checking how much of disk space is used up but sorting by type of file..

And after WD SmartWare scanned the internal drive..

Now that's a smart feature!

It will also prompt you if there's any software/driver updates.

Now it's all set to transfer and backup files from internal drive. Oh, how I wish I had this for keeps.
